Corneal Ulcer
A corneal ulcer is an inflammatory or infective condition of the cornea involving disruption of its epithelial layer with involvement of the corneal stroma. The cornea covers the iris (the coloured portion of the eye), and the round pupil, much like a watch crystal covers the face of a watch.

Keratoplasty
Corneal transplant, also known as Keratoplasty of Corneal grafting, is a surgical procedure where a damaged or diseased cornea is replaced by donated corneal tissue. The graft is taken from a recently dead individual who had pledged to donate his or her eyes.

Pterygium
A pterygium is a wing-shaped growth of tissue across the cornea, which is the clear window at the front of the eye. It nearly always forms on the part of the cornea, which is visible when the eye is open.
